New loafers

God damn, does a new loafer feel good, not just on the foot, but on the whole man. I cruised over to Lord & Taylor the other night and bought the shit out of these Air Grants. The tag on the side, which you can't make out, reads "Nike Air." Cole Haan and Nike are now lovers, it seems, which is why these bad boys and my black Aiden loafers have Nike sole technology, though I can feel no real evidence of the such.

My dad used t have loafers like these -- no buckle, though -- and I recall marveling at the little rubber rabbit turd bottoms and wondering how on Earth you can walk around without a proper sole. It turns out that you can.
